Currently a structures engineer at Multimatic Technical Centre
I designed this website as an outlet. An outlet to share my ideas with the world and an outlet to practice web design. I've had a personal website in one form or another since 2011. My first web development course was at the YSM Computer Literacy Centre in downtown Toronto. It was a fun mix of graphic design and computers and I've been developing websites ever since.
My first job was as a .NET Application Developer at Crosschasm Technologies in May 2012. It was a fast-paced, startup environment and I really enjoyed my time there. Over the past five years, I've worked at the TTC, Starquip Integrated Systems and Apple Inc. as a mechanical designer. I enjoyed the experience so much that I joined the Waterloo Hybrid team to further hone my skills as a designer. I even tried my hand at finite element analysis at UTC Aerospace Systems in Oakville. After five years, I graduated from the University of Waterloo in June of 2016, eager to dive deeper into the world of mechanical engineering and take the next step in my career.
As of January 2017, I was completing my master's at the Impact Mechanics and Material Characterization Group in Waterloo, optimizing transparent armour using computer models and experimental methods. Since then, I have become a structures engineer at Multimatic Techincal Centre where I help in the production of automotive components through computer simulation.
So now that you know a little about me, feel free to poke around this site. You might find something you like.
Cheers,
Prusodman Sathananthan
